The Zio^® product portfolio has expanded to include the Zio Lite wall module, which utilizes Sylk™ technology, making it easy for contractors to add peripheral devices to controllers, such as wall modules, sensors, actuators, and input and output (I/O) modules. Sylk is a 2-wire polarity-insensitive bus that provides power and communication between a Sylk-enabled controller, such as the Spyder™ controller to a Sylk-enabled device, like Zio Lite, without having to run multiple wires and use up I/O on the controller. The module offers temperature, humidity, and CO₂ sensing, all on only two wires. It can help HVAC contractors install more jobs faster with the Spyder, decrease labor hours required for each job, and drive a higher profit, said the company.
