The EMI Enviroair Series of single- and multi-zone residential ductless split systems features an inverter-driven compressor, which adjusts speed to reduce cycling and better maintain comfort. The line consists of the FSR Series, 9,000- and 12,000-Btuh, 15 SEER single-zone straight cool systems for 115-V applications; SZ1 Series, 9,000- to 24,000-Btuh, 16 SEER single-zone heat pumps for 208/230-V applications; and MZ1 Series, 9,000- to 18,000-Btuh, 15-16 SEER multi-zone heat pumps. The series features Follow Me Technology — the temperature sensor inside the remote determines the room’s cooling or heating needs as the louver controls follow the remote. Features include turbo mode, louver position memory, auto-level swing louvers, LCD display, 24-hour timer, auto-start function, and sleep mode. All models include a handheld infrared remote control.
