Solid Chemistry Technology Also Optimizes System Performance
ST. PAUL, Minn. — Nalco, an Ecolab company, has introduced its 3D TRASAR Solid Cooling Water Program for commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, and educational facilities.
According to the company, 3D TRASAR Cooling Water technology continuously monitors building cooling water systems to detect water quality issues in real-time and dispense precise chemistry to optimize system performance, reduce water and energy use, and protect assets. The use of Ecolab’s solid chemistry and dispensing technology is said to increase on-site safety and provide sustainability benefits.
“The 3D TRASAR Solid Cooling Water Program is a great example of our commitment to leverage leading technologies across all Ecolab businesses,” said Tim Mulhere, Ecolab executive vice president and president, Global Water. “By combining Ecolab’s 25-year-history of solid chemistry and dispenser innovation with Nalco’s expertise in automation and chemistry formulations, we’re able to offer customers significant added value to their cooling system operations.”
To improve safety and sustainability, the 3D TRASAR Solid Cooling Water Program is designed with easy-to-transport solid brick chemistry, replacing pails and drums to help reduce packaging by 94 percent, said the company
