In metric frame sizes from 71-132 mm, the High Performance Metric Motors come in speeds ranging from 1,500-4,500 rpm. The motors have a power rating of 0.75-40 hp and an IP55 degree of protection for the range. According to the manufacturer, the permanent magnet motors are suited for applications involving pumps, fans, and compressors, and are offered with the added convenience of a surface mounted, pulse width modulating (PWM) output and electronic control. Permanent magnet compatible variable-frequency drives can be utilized with the HPS (high performance stand-alone) motors, while the HPI (high-performance integrated) design offers drives integrated into
the motor.
