With an exact-fit replacement design, the York^® Prestige™ rooftop units match the footprints and electrical and gas lines of other manufacturers’ units, said the company. The new design reduces installation complexities and saves contractors time by eliminating the need for a curb adapter. The units are available in 3-12.5-ton sizes and 13 SEER, 10.8-11.2 EER; or 15 SEER, 11.5-12.2 EER ratings. An advanced microprocessor control technology with an LED display delivers information on unit status; startup and commissioning features; unit set up; supply, return, and outdoor air temperatures; and plug-and-play accessories. The units are easily field convertible from 2-inch air filters to 4-inch air filters; no tools are required. Two-inch MERV 7 air filters are available factory-installed, and 4-inch MERV 13 or higher filters can be field-installed by utilizing the simple, adjustable filter rack. Indoor and outdoor fans are dynamically balanced for performance and reliability. All units use a single or dual scroll compressor.
