Compatible with all common refrigerants, the company’s refrigeration seals fit all 45-degree flared fittings. The seals make any flared fitting permanently leak-free, yet still allow serviceability, the company said. They are copper stampings coated with a dry-to-the-touch Loctite sealant. For installation, clip the seal onto the nose of the flare, and tighten the fitting to its proper torque. The seals are rated from -65 to 300°F. According to the manufacturer, the seals fit all brands of flared fittings; no special tools are required.
