The Spectroline® OPK-40GS/E GLO-STICK® leak-detection kit has everything needed to locate air conditioning and refrigeration leaks in small- to medium-size systems — including high-pressure R-410A systems. The single-dose fluorescent dye capsules add refrigerant and fluorescent dye in one step. The kit contains the OPTIMAX™ 400 LED leak-detection flashlight. It has a high-output violet light LED. The OPTIMAX 400 has power comparable to high-intensity 150-W lamps and has an inspection range of up to 25 feet (7.6 m) or more, said the company. Also included in the kit are four universal/POE GLO-STICK dye capsules, a bleed valve, a purge capsule and fitting, a hose to connect to the low-side port, an 8-ounce (237 ml) spray bottle of GLO-AWAY™ dye cleaner, and fluorescence-enhancing glasses. All components are packed in a rugged carrying case.
