ELMHURST, Ill. — The greater Chicago area has a new heating and cooling service company, Anderson Climate Solutions. The company, with offices in Wheeling, Elmhurst, and Libertyville, Ill., will initially provide repair, maintenance, and installation services to residential, commercial, and light industrial customers in the northern Illinois region with plans to eventually expand throughout the Midwest.

The company said it services, maintains, and installs traditional and newer energy efficient heating and cooling systems, with an emphasis on green technologies such as geothermal.

Anderson Climate Solutions is a division of Andex Co., which is also the parent company of Anderson Pest Solutions, a family-owned pest control company covering the Midwest. According to Mark O’Hara, president of Anderson Pest Solutions and founder of the new Anderson Climate Solutions, “For years, our pest control clients have been asking us to recommend a heating and cooling company that delivered reliable, environmentally responsible services.” This indicated an obvious demand, he said. “So we decided to explore what it would take to provide the same level of quality service in heating and cooling that we’re known for in pest control. It took some time to put together, but we think Anderson Climate Solutions is a truly unique service that people are really going to like.”

After thoroughly studying the Midwest heating and cooling market and researching the available and emerging technologies, O’Hara partnered with Frank Crigler, the owner of Custom Design Cooling in Arlington Heights, Ill., an HVAC contracting company specializing in geothermal systems. “It’s a great fit,” said O’Hara. “Frank’s team brings outstanding technical and service expertise in the new generation of heating and cooling systems which we’ve combined with the Anderson processes for delivering extraordinary client service and satisfaction. We’ll be able to provide a wider range of service to our existing pest control clients as well as offer a higher level of quality to new heating and cooling clients. We’re really excited about the potential for the new business.”
