A solar-powered digital industrial thermometer has been added to the company’s line of industrial temperature measurement solutions. Ideal for those who prefer the readability of a digital thermometer, the solar digital industrial thermometer has a ½-inch-high LCD screen, the company said. Powered by a built-in solar cell, batteries never need replacing, and even a flashlight is enough to power this unit. Models are available in designs used to replace bimetal-type thermometers, traditional-type industrial thermometers with a tapered bulb, and 1¼- to 18-inch swivel nut fitting, and for air duct temperature measurement. This easy-to-read model is mercury free for safe installation in a variety of environments. Models with 4-20 mA transmitter capability for connection to a remotely installed controller or recorder are also available. The adjustable angle fitting rotates 180 degrees, allowing the thermometer to be installed at the best possible viewing angle for your area.
