The line of PVFY vertical concealed indoor air handlers has been upgraded and now features increased static capacity, certified sound ratings, and overall installation design flexibility. Enhanced features include improved static capacities, allowing longer duct runs and better air delivery, an additional set of contacts for economizer control, third-party-certified sound power and sound pressure ratings, compatibility with all current and previous Mitsubishi Electric variable-refrigerant flow (VRF) zoning outdoor units, and it supports dual set point function. According to the manufacturer, the PVFY line of indoor units is ideal for installation in closets, attics, equipment rooms, and other places where space is limited. The air handlers can be used in both retrofit and new building applications. For even greater flexibility, the units can be installed vertically or horizontally, incorporate three fan speeds, and offers extremely quiet operation.
