LEAWOOD, Kan. — American Energy Solutions, a provider of comprehensive energy management strategies, has announced a new company name, Acumen Energy Solutions, to more accurately reflect its position as an international energy service company.

The company serves multi-site facilities and commercial, industrial, and institutional customers across the United States as well as in Canada and Mexico. Shawn Rash, president of Acumen Energy Solutions, said, “We’ve established a strong infrastructure with some of the best and brightest in the energy industry, and we’ve continuously enhanced our services and products to meet the evolving needs of our clients. That's ultimately allowed us to significantly expand our operations beyond the U.S. borders, and this new name will only help us continue in that direction.”

Although the renaming takes effect immediately, American Energy Solutions will be gradually phased out as the Acumen Energy Solutions name is introduced to existing and prospective customers. All future business activity will be undertaken with the Acumen Energy Solutions name.
