Liquid line filter driers are factory-installed for greater reliability. There are service valves with sweat connections and easy-to-access gauge ports, plus a contactor with lug connection. Access to the controls is gained through a single panel with controls, while maintenance can be performed from either the top or side. Space is provided for field-installed accessories that can improve both the HVAC dealer’s bottom line and homeowner’s in-door comfort. The GSX16’s high-efficiency scroll compressor can deliver up to 16 SEER cooling. A copper tube/enhanced aluminum fin coil adds durability. The unit runs quieter due to a louvered sound control top.
