Lead-free balancing valves have been added to the CimCLIMA product line. The lead-free valve features a compact, corrosion-resistant brass body and is manufactured to ISO 9001 standards. The design is based on NSF/ANSI 61-2008 Annex G in compliance with section 116875 of the California Health and Safety Code. According to the manufacturer, CimCLIMA products are essential elements for balancing hydronic fan coils, variable-air volume, branch lines, pumps, heating and/or cooling systems, multiple boiler arrangements, radiant lines, and terminal vents. CimCLIMA valves are suitable for both heating and cooling systems, and are designed to provide isolation, accurate balancing, or time-saving and energy-saving bypass, said the company. The line of valves can be configured in basic kits for simple manual on-off isolation, balanced kits for addressing the needs of an HVAC system, or automated kits for applications where balancing and interfacing with a building management system is needed.
