PHOENIX — For the fourth straight year, Chas Roberts Air Conditioning and Plumbing will be awarding Arizona families in need with a new HVAC system. Chas Roberts will select two winners — one in Phoenix and one in Tucson. Each will receive a new Carrier or Goodman brand air conditioning and heating system (valued at $5,000), installed by Chas Roberts.

People are encouraged to nominate someone in need by filling out the form available on Selections will be based on the nominees’ stories of need. All nomination forms must be submitted by June 30, 2013. The systems will be installed within five days of notification of the winners, and just in time for the hot Arizona summer days.

“We became the largest HVAC provider in Arizona because of the loyalty of our customers, and we enjoy giving back to the communities where we live and work,” said Chas Roberts CEO Sissie Roberts Shank. “This is the fourth year we are sponsoring this giveaway, and every year we are moved by the personal stories we read in the nominations.”

Previous recipients include a woman who cared for foster children in her home, military veterans, and a couple who ran an animal rescue at their house and had been without air conditioning for seven years.
