ATLANTA — NexTraq®, a leader in GPS fleet and asset tracking solutions, has announced a partnership with field service software provider, Compusource. According to the companies, they will work together to provide enhanced management functionality for service contracting businesses, with features including dispatch, maintenance, contract management, service quoting, and mobile technician management, as well as fully integrated accounting.

Used together, the two services will provide added value to users. The Compusource dispatch system will be powered by NexTraq, making the dispatcher’s job much easier, said the companies. On one screen users will be able to see open service calls, service calls being worked on, and truck locations — all color coded by status.

Mike Scarbrough, CEO of NexTraq, said, “NexTraq is always dedicated to providing our customers with the most comprehensive solution possible. A partnership with an esteemed company such as Compusource benefits everyone by allowing users to better manage their day-to-day operations.”

Greg Weber, sales manager at Compusource, said, “Because we target the same market, this allows both companies to have more exposure to the market.”

Weber concluded, “NexTraq and Compusource together provide all the functionality to run a service contracting business. Customers benefit from the partnership because they will be significantly more productive, and therefore more profitable. The integration will allow users to have a much greater handle on their operations with little extra effort.”
