Cadmium-oxide fumes occur when the braze reaches a high temperature, said the company. The Planet Class I-7 Silver Brazing Filler Metals have varying liquids temperatures: Mars™ #4 is at 1,105°F (596°C); Neptune #6, 1,121°F (605°C); Earth #7, 1,140°F (616°C); Venus #3, 1,224°F (662°C); Pluto #5, 1,274°F (690°C); Saturn #2, 1,338°F (726°C); and Jupiter #1, 1,355°F (735°C). The silver brazing filler metals have the following tensile strength: Mars #4 has 64,642 psi (29,275 kilos); Neptune #6, 48,926 psi (22,193 kilos); Earth #7, 56,428 psi (25,595 kilos); Venus #3, 56,426 psi (25,594 kilos); Pluto #5, 55,357 psi (25,109 kilos); Saturn #2, 65,357 psi (29,645 kilos); and Jupiter #1, 53,392 psi (24,218 kilos).
