DALLAS — William McCoy, chair, ASHRAE Standard 188P, Prevention of Legionellosis Associated with Building Water Systems, said at the ASHRAE breakfast today that 4,000 people die from Legionnaires' disease every year in the United States due to poorly managed water systems.
