Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013: New Phos Copper Brazing Rod Is Also Silver Solder
DALLAS — NetBraze® LLC is introducing a new phos copper brazing rod that has been modified to also become silver solder. For well over 75 years, says the company, phos copper brazing rods (AWS BCuP 1-7) only brazed copper and brass metals.
Patent-pending NetBraze 15 Modified is formulated to braze copper pipe connections with a heavy braze that covers the braze area flawlessly and stays in place during brazing, the company says. It is also a silver solder. Used with flux, NetBraze 15 Modified brazes both ferrous and nonferrous metals with very high strength.
