Home » Follett Corp.: Ice Machine Condensing Units
Outdoor condensing units with three-phase power supply have been added to the company’s remote ice machine configurations. According to the manufacturer, the outdoor condensing units remove from the building the heat generated when making ice, and the energy-efficient units save 20 percent over single-phase units. The three-phase machine’s lower amp load allows for smaller circuits, saving money on installation. The outdoor condensing units are available for Horizon™ 1000, 1400, and 1650 Series ice machines. Horizon ice machines with the three-phase outdoor condensing units produce the same Chewblet® ice as the single-phase remote condensing units as well as the self-contained machines, said the company.
