• Johnson Controls (Milwaukee) announced that two of its York Affinity CZH split system air conditioners, and one York Affinity YZH heat pump model, have been recognized as Energy Star Most Efficient of 2012.

• Daikin McQuay’s (Minneapolis) Rebel commercial rooftop system was recognized as the first to meet the Department of Energy’s (DOE) rooftop unit challenge, which includes meeting an IEER of 18 or higher with a 50 to 60 percent reduction in energy use over current standards.
