Home » Johnson Controls: Hot Gas Reheat Packaged Units
The York® brand of products with MagnaDRY™ technology has been expanded to include 3-5-ton Predator MagnaDRY hot gas reheat packaged units. The ZR037, ZR049, and ZR061 are based on a state-of-the-art dehumidification system that keeps occupants comfortable in humidity-sensitive applications without overcooling the space. Featuring a similar design as the 6.5- to 12.5-ton Predator hot gas reheat units, the 3- to 5-ton units achieve efficiencies of 15 SEER and 12.2 EER. These units can be ordered in several configurations, including reheat only, reheat with electric heat, or reheat with gas. A common footprint allows the unit to be simply installed on a curb, slab, roof rack, or frame. The unit also features a slide-out motor and blower, which makes it easy to service. The York MagnaDry system combines a high-efficiency heating-cooling unit with a unique dehumidification system to simultaneously control humidity levels and temperatures, keeping commercial structures comfortable and energy-efficient. Factory-installed options are available, including a stainless-steel heat exchanger, electric heating elements, and supply and return air smoke detectors. Field-installed accessories, such as propane and high-altitude conversion kits, smoke detectors, carbon dioxide sensors, and motorized dampers are also available.
