LANCASTER, Pa. — Burnham Holdings Inc. announced that Albert Morrison III has announced his retirement as CEO of the company, effective April 23, 2012. Morrison has been with the company for more than 39 years, holding the position of CEO since 1988. He will continue to serve as chairman of the board and a director of Burnham Holdings.

The board also announced that it has named Douglas S. Brossman to serve as the company’s president and a director, effective Jan. 1, 2012. He will also be elected CEO upon Morrison’s retirement in April. Brossman has held the position of vice president and general counsel of Burnham Holdings since 2008. Prior to joining Burnham Holdings, Brossman held various legal and financial positions with Armstrong World Industries Inc.
