Giant Human Pink Ribbon Promotes Screening
Adam Snavely, Poole & Kent president and CEO, also presented pink hard hats to officials from Johns Hopkins. “This is the second consecutive year that we’ve formed a giant human pink ribbon at The Johns Hopkins Hospital because our construction workers and client wholeheartedly embraced the initiative last year and are again excited about it this year,” Snavely said.
“Our employees wear hard hats on a daily basis for personal protection, and we are proud of their commitment to wear a pink hard hat for the month of October to raise awareness of breast cancer and how critical it is for women and men to protect themselves by getting screened. As a company that has built its reputation on being actively engaged in the concerns of our industry and our community, it’s gratifying to demonstrate our support for breast cancer screening and awareness - standing with our dedicated employees, clients, and partners.”
The Poole & Kent Corp. was awarded a contract for The Johns Hopkins Clinical Building redevelopment project in 2007 and has been on-site since that time, installing the mechanical and plumbing systems for the project.
