The Lock Guard, invented by a tradesman who was tired of constantly being locked out of his work van, protects hockey puck padlocks from snow, ice, salt, and road grime, helping to prevent the locks from freezing, rusting, and jamming up. It goes on over the padlock and attaches itself with five strong magnets. When the user wants to have access to the lock, the guard is simply pulled off, and left to hang by its attached cable or can also be stuck to the panel of the van door. When the user is done accessing the inside of the vehicle, the guard is placed back over the lock. According to the manufacturer, the weather- proof lock cover is made to fit all round hockey puck locks currently available on the market.
