The 8400 Series, which is replacing the 8300 Series, is a thermostat with a sleek new design. Programmable and nonprogrammable models are available, as are conventional, heat pump, and universal models. Features include dual-fuel converter built-in, large backlit display, maintenance reminders, and circulate fan mode. The 8400 Series is shipped with a blank battery cover, which dealers can remove and replace with their custom imprinted cover. According to the manufacturer, dealers no longer need to purchase large quantities of thermostats to get free imprinting. The unit comes with a five-year warranty.
