PARSIPPANY, N.J. - Robert K. Asdal, executive director of the Hydraulic Institute (HI), announced that six new organizations have joined the team of 95-plus HI member and associate member companies during 2008. New members include Smith & Loveless Inc., Crane Pumps & Systems, and Warren Rupp. New associate members include Emerson Control Techniques, Graphite Metallizing Corp., and ASCO Power Technologies.

Membership in HI is open to both large and smaller-sized companies. The association works aggressively to enact its vision to be a global authority on pumps and pumping systems, and is currently accepting membership applications.
