GREENVILLE, Ill. - According to Enertech Manufacturing LLC., International Ground Source Heat Pump Association’s (IGSHPA’s) CLGS software has been the industry standard for loop sizing for over 20 years.

The DOS-based software, however, has become more difficult to use on the new computer operating systems. As part of Enertech’s programming contract to create its GeoAnalyst™ loop sizing and operating cost comparison software, the company has agreed to provide an updated version of CLGS at no cost to IGSHPA to help further the advancement of geothermal heat pumps in the industry. The new software, CLGS for Windows, will be in beta form in time for the IGSHPA Annual Conference in October, and should be in final release form near the end of 2008.
