This new condensing unit is designed to cover high, medium, and low temperature applications.

One of the newest additions to the condensing sector is the Copeland® Narrow Copevap®. It is a condensing unit for high-, medium- and low-temperature refrigeration applications.

The new line from Emerson Climate Technology offers a narrow 8.25 inch wide base for greater OEM design flexibility, usage in space-limited applications and faster field service replacement, according to the company.

The condensing unit includes a compact condenser coil and molded plastic shroud for durability and airflow across the entire coil face. The condensing unit is rated for use in operating conditions up to 100°F.

Its high-efficiency compressors also allow for lower end user utility expenses and the unit’s larger condensate holding volume handles more condensate from defrost cycles, eliminating potential over-spills in retail settings, the company said.

“We continuously strive to provide our refrigeration customers with reliable solutions to their everyday problems,” said Tom Parrish, director of marketing and sales services, Emerson Climate Technologies, Integrated Products Division.

“With the compact size of the new Narrow Copevap platform, OEMs will benefit from enhanced design flexibility, while still being able to offer end users the durability and energy efficiency that is inherent in our Copeland brand condensing units.”

All Copeland Narrow Copevap condensing unit models have UL-recognized agency approval.
