PITTSBURGH - With the addition of Flutec Inc., the Linc Service Network has expanded into Mexico for the first time.

Based in the border city of Juarez, Flutec operates just south of El Paso, Texas, in Chihuahua, Mexico’s largest state. Flutec is the first Mexican-based contractor to join the Linc Service Network, a 135+-member organization spanning the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and Mexico. As the newest Linc Service® Contractor, Flutec will follow the disciplines of the Linc System® in delivering preventive maintenance, as well as HVAC service and bundled energy solutions, to the commercial market.

Linc representatives actually discovered Flutec while searching for a franchise candidate in the El Paso market. After meeting with Linc, Flutec President Daniel Dominguez traveled to multiple Linc Service Contractor locations to learn more about the organization. The process proved to Dominguez that joining the network would enable him to grow his business and expand his offerings to customers.

“I am completely amazed and impressed with what the Linc System can do for our service business,” Dominguez said. “We’re very excited to be the first Linc Service Contractor in Mexico. Now that we’ll be selling Linc Service, I believe we’ll lead the way in providing state-of-the-art services that will enhance our reputation as a top quality HVAC solution provider in Juarez.”

The franchise agreement with Flutec is part of Linc’s new initiative to expand its service network around the world. Led by Linc Senior Vice President of International Development Todd Flannery, this initiative also identifies Saudi Arabia, Australia, and New Zealand as targets for expansion.

Founded in 1990, Flutec is a design/build HVAC mechanical contractor that specializes in turnkey projects and provides services such as clean rooms, energy management and DDC controls, and central plants.

“Flutec fits very well into our focus on identifying international service businesses that mirror the high level of integrity and world-class service for which our Network is known,” said Linc President and CEO Scott Giacobbe. “The global reach of our service network continues to expand, and we look forward to providing Daniel and his staff with resources that will ensure their continued success.”

Linc Network LLC, headquartered in Pittsburgh and Atlanta, is the franchisor of the Linc System, a business format for operating a commercial HVAC service business. For more information, visit www.lincservice.com.
