A signing ceremony marked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA) and Singapore-based AFMA Technologies Pte Ltd. In the agreement, AFMA will act as AMCA’s agent in Singapore, administering AMCA’s Certified Ratings Program. This was part of AMCA’s expansion of its ratings program into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and India in an effort to “advance the use of identical procedures for product certification throughout the world, while providing simplification, standardization, and cost reduction,” said AMCA. Taking part in the ceremony are, from left, Gary Benson, president of Mechanovent Corp. and AMCA vice president at the time of the ceremony; Barbara Morrison, AMCA executive director; Goh Swee Lee, AMFA general manager; and Tan Tin Tin, AFMA Singapore technical director.
