FALLS CHURCH, Va. - Girard Engineering PC, a mechanical-electrical consulting engineering firm, announced the promotion of two of the firm’s senior engineers. J. Andrew Marusich, P.E., and Stephen J. Millnick, LEED® AP, have both been promoted to principals.

Marusich has more than 20 years of experience as an electrical engineer and project manager. His expertise includes the design of systems for office buildings, multifamily residential complexes, and interior fit-outs. His recent experience includes engineering services for Liberty Park, a 200,000-square-foot office building at Tysons Corner; Half Street, an office, residential, and hotel development for Monument Realty near the new Nationals Ballpark in Washington; and renovation of the Watergate Hotel, also in Washington.

Millnick is a project manager and mechanical engineer with nearly 25 years of experience. He is proficient in the design of complex HVAC systems for large office buildings and high-end tenant fit-outs. His experience includes the Half Street mixed-use complex near the new stadium in Washington, and renovation of the Watergate Hotel. He also helped design building systems for the 550,000-square-foot downtown office space for the law firm of WilmerHale.
