The ThermaCAM® BCAM SD infrared (IR) camera helps users monitor and diagnose the condition of buildings quickly and view crisp thermal images on the 3.5-inch color LCD, the company said. The built-in laser LocatIR™ helps the user associate the hot spot on the IR image with the physical target. According to the manufacturer, this feature enhances the ability to target inconsistencies. The IR detector produces sensitive thermal images that allow users to detect subtle temperature variations that can signal moisture in building materials. The camera provides more image storage, better image quality, and more post-processing capabilities. It stores up to 1,000 radiometric jpg images. Features include a removable SD memory card and new QuickReport™ software. The unit contains dew point, insulation, and color alarm features.
