Emerson Climate Technologies has announced that two of its plants - in Hartselle, Ala., and Sidney, Ohio - have been ranked in the top 10 of suppliers for Taylor Co., a division of Carrier. Overall, some 129 plants of various Taylor suppliers were ranked based on quality, delivery, cost reduction, and service. Keith Browning, vice president of sales for Emerson Climate Technologies, said its plants “scored well above the average performance criteria set by the Taylor Co. for each key area and obtained the highest ratings for the supplier-services performance evaluation.”

“The year 2006 was a record-breaking sales year for Taylor,” said Jerry Weaver, purchasing manager for Taylor, “and we could not have achieved this without the outstanding effort from suppliers like Emerson.

“We truly appreciate their strong commitment to providing quality products, timely delivery, and flexible service to our company.”
