• Goodman Manufacturing Co. LP (Houston) is now leasing nearly 1 million square feet of inventory space in the Houston area.
• Home Comfort Zones (Portland, Ore.) appointed Jim Hermann as CEO. Hal Alles, the company’s founder and original CEO, will assume the role of chief technology officer and remain as chairman of the board.
• Johnson Manufacturing Co. (Princeton, Iowa) acquired the assets of S.A. Day Manufacturing Co. (Buffalo, N.Y.), which is now called the S.A. Day Buffalo Flux Facility.
• Hitachi Appliance Inc., Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Division (Tokyo) assigned Tetsuya Hirono as the director of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Group within the Industrial Systems Division of Hitachi America Ltd. (Tarrytown, N.Y.).
