Rheem Recognizes Top Distributors
RANDLEMAN, N.C. - The Rheem Manufacturing Co., Replacement
Parts Department, announced its 2006 Diamond, Emerald, and Crystal winners for
the newly created Performance Rewards Program. These awards recognize the
Prostock® stores across the country that maintain and uphold the professional
image and high standards of the rapidly expanding network of Prostock parts
stores and Protech™ brand products.
The program’s focus is to help ensure that each Prostock parts distributor provides the industry’s best parts shopping experience and customer service to contractors and dealers. It is through this assessment process that stores can be identified for special recognition. A multicriteria system is used to evaluate each Prostock parts store. Points are assigned by the review team for things like merchandising effectiveness, product presentation, customer product access, training, and others. The goal of this initiative is to continuously increase the quality of the customer’s shopping experience and to ensure that contractors have access to their market area’s best one-stop parts and supply destination.
“We congratulate these award-winning Rheem and Ruud distributors for helping make Prostock and this Performance Rewards Program such a success,” said Don Harter, general manager Rheem Replacement Parts Department. “The evaluation process gave us a tool to objectively measure our network of Prostock stores on a national level, and determine if they were best-equipped to meet contractor needs and exceed expectations.”
The Diamond winners are: Dealers Supply, Alpharetta, Ga.; Gemaire Distributors, West Palm Beach, Fla.; ABR Wholesalers Inc., Rochester, N.Y.; ABR Wholesalers Inc., Buffalo, N.Y.; York Corrugating, Harrisburg, Pa.; Admor HVAC Supply, Honolulu, Hawaii; Shirley’s J&B Supply Inc., Oklahoma City; and Mar-Hy Distributors Inc., Milwaukee.
The Emerald winners are: Benoist Brothers, Evansville, Ind.; Benoist Brothers, Mt. Vernon, Ill.; Gemaire Distributors, Hollywood, Fla.; Global HVAC, San Jose, Calif.; J & B Supply Inc., Broken Arrow, Okla.; P & N Distributing Corp., Burlington Township, N.J.; P & N Distributing Corp., Lakewood, N.J.; Palmer-Donavin, Columbus, Ohio; Riback Supply, Jefferson City, Mo.; Riback Supply, Osage Beach, Mo.; and Superior Distribution, Evansville, Ind.
