July 20, 2007: Three HVAC Units Receive Best Buy Award
DEERFIELD, Ill. - Consumer’s Digest has awarded multiple HVAC products its Best Buy Award. According to the publication, a Best Buy is defined as a product that offers the most value for a given amount of money. It is not judged based on being the least expensive or the best-known brand in the category.
“A Consumer’s Digest Best Buy is a nationally available product we’ve identified as one that merits special attention from consumers based on its combination of performance, ease-of-use, features, durability, warranty, efficiency, styling, maintenance, and servicing requirements,” said the publication.
The products chosen for each category are then classed and labeled as premium selection, midrange selection, and economy selection. For the central air conditioner category, the Bryant Evolution 180A received a premium selection award, the Coleman Echelon 5T received a midrange selection award, and the Goodman SSX14 received the economy selection award.
