Ferguson Gift Speeds Fundraiser Towards Early Completion Goal
NEWPORT NEWS,
Va. - HVAC wholesale-distributor Ferguson announced that it would make a
$10,000 contribution to support the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC)
Educational Foundation’s 2007 “Invest In Your Future” Annual Giving Campaign.
The gift complements a contribution-matching program provided by InSinkErator.
This is the third year Ferguson has participated in the program, which raises $125,000 in contributions to support the PHCC Educational Foundation’s mission of providing quality education to contractors and their employees. A portion of the proceeds supports the PHCC National Auxiliary Scholarship Program.
The foundation asked its donors to make their gifts early in 2007 to allow the organization to focus on developing additional contractor education programs this fall. “Ferguson’s gift has now brought us within $10,000 of our fundraising goal for the year,” said Foundation Chairman Fran Williams. “With a little help from those in our industry interested in supporting education, we can do that.”
Contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers are encouraged to participate in closing out the 2007 fundraiser. Contribution forms and a list of industry donors are available directly from the Foundation Website: www.foundation.phccweb.org/invest, or by calling 800-533-7694.
