The AST44LP and AST43LP low-pressure, hazardous area-approved pressure transmitters can perform in a variety of industrial applications. These media-isolated units are constructed with 316L SS wetted materials for complete compatibility with a wide range of liquids and gases. Both transmitters measure low pressure ranges from 0-5 to 0-15 psi. The AST44LP carries a UL/cUL 913 (CSA 157) approval and has been rated for Class 1 Division 1 Groups C and D when installed with an approved barrier. This high-strength unit is intended for intrinsically safe areas. The AST43LP is recommended for use in hazardous locations. It is UL/cUL 1604 (CSA 213) Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C, and D listed. Both units offer assorted cable lengths with conduit fittings or a Hirschmann DIN 43650A. The AST44LP is also equipped to provide alternative options such as standard cable, mini DIN 43650, Bendix or Packard Metripack 150 three-pin connection.
