Three G61V gas furnace models have been added to the Dave Lennox Signature Collection product line. At 95 percent AFUE, these gas furnaces qualify for a $150 U.S. energy-efficiency tax credit and are Energy Star® products. The G61Vs provide added comfort by running at low speed up to 80 percent of the time. The two levels of heat output - low for most days and high for the coldest days - mean more even temperatures. The furnaces’ variable-speed operation can help control high humidity. According to the manufacturer, the furnace not only improves comfort, but can also improve the quality of the indoor air. The continuous fan mode works well with IAQ products, such as filters, because it operates at a slower speed, allowing them to capture more contaminants. The G61V furnace line is backed by a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a five-year limited warranty on all remaining covered components.
