March 21, 2007: One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating Is Nation's Fastest-Growing Franchise
SARASOTA, Fla. - Clockwork Home Services Inc. announced that its One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating unit has been named the nation’s No. 1 fastest-growing franchise, according to Franchise Times’ annual “Fast 55” ranking of the fastest-growing franchises in the country. Franchise Times reports in its current issue that for the last five-year period, One Hour had a five-year average franchised unit growth rate of 2,592 percent - almost twice the reported growth rate of the next ranked franchise. One Hour moved to the No. 1 spot up from No. 2 in last year’s “Fast 55” ranking.
Clockwork’s Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise unit ranked No. 36 on Franchise Times’ 2007 list - up from No. 40 in the prior year - with a five-year average franchised unit growth rate of 377 percent.
