GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Recruitment of entry-level craftspeople just got easier, according to the Youth Training & Development Consortium (YTDC). Contractors can now access more than 10,000 pre-qualified students with the equivalent of one-year apprenticeship training with the click of mouse, says the organization.

The YTDC is a recruitment service placing entry-level craftspeople into the construction and industrial maintenance industries. YTDC assists in the development of training and educational services that lead to a career for young adults between the ages of 18-24.

Through the YTDC, contractors can search for qualified candidates for a specific job anywhere in the country from www.ytdc.org. The Web site performs a nationwide geographic search based on specific criteria the contractor submits.
