WASHINGTON, DC — The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) announced a strategic partnership to help wholesaler-distributors choose telecommunications services and service providers for their companies. NAW has teamed up with Simplexity, Inc., an online marketplace for telecommunications.

The new, co-branded Web site, www.naw.simplexity.com, lets users submit anonymous requests for proposals and receive customized bids from multiple carriers. Bids are said to be organized in a neutral, unbiased “apples-to-apples” format for easy comparison, and customers can purchase telecom services directly on the site.

“Today’s telecommunications marketplace is increasingly complex, and wholesaler-distributors do not have the time to sort it all out,” said Dirk Van Dongen, president of NAW. “Simplexity is an unbiased resource they can turn to find out what services, plans, and pricing best meet the needs of their particular business.”
