LAS VEGAS - HVAC Excellence is hosting the First Annual National HVAC Educators and Trainers Conference March 26 and 27, 2007 in Las Vegas. This conference brings together the people from schools, manufacturing, distribution, and education administration that are involved in training the current and future workforce of the HVACR industry. Some of the featured speakers at the conference include: Professor John Tomczyk of Ferris State University, co-author ofRefrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology; Julius Banks, the program manager for Refrigerants for the United States Environmental Protection Agency; Betty Krump, the executive director of the American Technical Education Association; Steve Allen, the director of HVACR Recruitment & Education for the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada; and Bob Dwyer, the director of training for Bacharach Manufacturing and co-author ofCarbon Monoxide A Clear and Present Danger.
The conference is created for HVAC instructors, industry trainers, and educational administrators. There are also sessions created for persons involved in training at wholesalers, manufacturers, school, private training companies, and administrators.
