PITTSBURGH - With the addition of Omaha, Neb.-based Controlled Systems Inc. (CSI), the Linc Service Network has now expanded into Nebraska.

CSI is the latest franchise to join the network of nearly 140 members that spans the United States, Canada, Bermuda, Australia, and New Zealand. Linc Service® contractors follow the disciplines of the Linc System® in delivering preventive maintenance, HVAC service, and energy solutions to the commercial market.

CSI has provided mechanical service solutions for its industrial and commercial customers since 1989. The company has already begun implementing the operating procedures and tools of the Linc System to better service its customers throughout the greater Omaha area. CSI principal Ken Caillau worked for a Linc Service contractor in California in 1982, about the same time his current neighbor to the east - Des Moines, Iowa-based Stroh Corp. - became a Linc Service contractor. Nearly 23 years later, Caillau was looking to grow his small business while Stroh principal Pat Miller wanted to expand into a ripe market.

"We wanted a partner with similar goals to obtain more full-coverage maintenance programs and more negotiated projects," said Caillau. "Understanding and using the Linc System will be a great asset to us and help us continue to provide superior mechanical service solutions to our customers."

New CSI principal/general manager Larry Jones said CSI is quoting more business now than ever before in its 16-year history. According to Jones, there is more of a dialogue with customers and more doors are opening because the company is offering a unique service.

"We want our customers to focus on their core businesses while we satisfy their HVAC needs and reduce tenant loss and unnecessarily high energy costs," said Jones. "It's been less than two months and we've already received a great response to the benefits of the Linc System."

Linc Network president and CEO Scott Giacobbe agreed with Jones that membership in the Linc Service Network brings instant credibility and stability to CSI.

"The combination of Ken's technical expertise with Larry and Pat's experience using the Linc System is definitely a recipe for success," Giacobbe said. "By working together to maximize their strengths, I believe they will stand apart from their competition."

Linc Network LLC, headquartered in Pittsburgh and Atlanta, is the franchisor of the Linc System, a business format for operating a commercial HVAC service business. For more information, visit www.lincservice.com.
