ARLINGTON, Va. - At the recent meeting of the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute's (ARI's) General Standards Committee (GSC), the following 11 revised standards and guidelines were approved for publication.
ARI Standard 340/360-2004, "Performance Rating of Commercial and Industrial Unitary Air-Conditioning Equipment"
ARI Standard 620-2004, "Performance Rating of Self-Contained Humidifiers for Residential Applications"
ARI Standard 700-2004, "Specification for Fluorocarbon Refrigerants"
ARI Standard 1200-2004, "Performance Rating of Commercial Refrigerated Display Cases"
ARI Standard 680-2004, "Performance Rating of Residential Air Filter Equipment"
ARI Standard 850-2004, "Performance Rating of Commercial and Industrial Air Filter Equipment"
ARI Standard 610-2004, "Performance Rating of Central System Humidifiers for Residential Applications"
ARI Standard 900-2004, "Performance Rating of Thermal Storage Equipment Used for Cooling"
ARI Guideline K-2004, "Containers for Recovered Fluorocarbon Refrigerants"
ARI Standard 520-2004, "Performance Rating of Positive Displacement Condensing Units"
ARI Standard 540-2004, "Performance Rating of Positive Displacement Refrigerant Compressors"
ARI develops and publishes performance rating standards for industry products. ARI standards establish rating criteria and procedures for measuring and certifying product performance, so that products are rated on a uniform basis.
