Ritchie Engineering Charged With Violating Federal Regulations
The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 5, has charged the Garrett, IN facility of Ritchie Engineering Co., Inc. (Bloomington, MN), with allegedly violating federal regulations on refrigerant recycling. Ritchie has been issued a finding of violation for failing to demonstrate that refrigerant recovery and recycling equipment that it manufactured was correctly certified and labeled according to requirements of stratospheric ozone protection laws.
