Home » Nov. 30, 2005: AMCA Installs New Facility For Testing Circulator Fans
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - The Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA International) announced that it has installed an additional testing facility for ANSI/AMCA Standard 230-99, "Laboratory Methods of Testing Air Circulator Fans for Rating." This standard establishes standardized methods for air performance laboratory test data of circulator fans.
The new testing facility gives AMCA the ability to test circulator fans up to 96 inches (8 feet) in diameter. This addition enables AMCA to operate more than one circulator fan test at a time and allows it to provide test data to companies with oversized commercial and industrial circulator fans.
The standard can be ordered via AMCA International's Web site at www.amca.org.
