Ameresco Inc., an energy efficiency and renewable energy company, announced that it has acquired the energy consultancy and energy project management business of Energyexcel LLP, an independent energy services provider in Central London, United Kingdom.

BuildingIQ has announced the release of version 4.0 of its software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution to optimize energy use in commercial buildings. The company said the new version builds upon its Predictive Energy Optimization™ software and offers streamlined analytics, increased visibility into savings, and improved managed services.

The goal is to create a comprehensive framework for jurisdictions looking to implement and adopt green building regulations and codes and/or provide incentives for voluntary leadership programs such as LEED.
