The Hydraulic Institute recently named Aleks Roudnev, manager of research and design — applied hydraulics, Weir Minerals North America, as its 2014 Member of the Year. 

The utility monitoring and control system (UMCS) contract work will provide engineering and services necessary for the procurement of new and/or upgrades to direct digital control systems, HVAC systems, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, or other automated control systems on government facilities worldwide. 

Tallahassee, Florida-based H2 Engineering and Kelly Brothers Sheet Metal Inc. worked to provide an HVAC solution for a mission-critical facility housing public safety and emergency communications.
