The Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE), along with Chevron Energy Solutions, unveiled a new solar power and energy efficiency project that is expected to reduce MCOE’s overall energy demand by as much as 75 percent while yielding an expected savings of $2.2 million during the first 25 years of the project.

Aug. 30, 2012: New York Offers $107 Million for Large Solar Power Projects

August 30, 2012
Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo has announced that $107 million is available for a major solar power incentive program that will increase the amount of electricity generated by photovoltaic (PV) systems throughout New York. Proposals are sought for solar PV systems to be installed at larger commercial and industrial sites.
